“A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work” - Colin Powell
JH Equipment Services was started with a dream. At age 15, Josh Heck knew that with hard work, and a desire to succeed, he could fix any machine. He attended Berks Career and Technology Center throughout high school where he focused on Heavy Equipment Repair. He was a part of the National Technical Honor Society and graduated with high honors. His hard work was recognized when he was elected shop foreman for his program. After high school, Josh pursued an Associates Degree of Applied Sciences in Heavy Equipment Technology at Pennsylvania College of Technology. He graduated at the top of his program.
After college, Josh went on to accept a position with Power Pro where he worked for 5 years learning the ins and outs of all types of equipment with the dream of one day starting his own company. He became even more experienced with Pettibone, Cummins engines, Carroro and Spicer axles and transmissions. Josh loves a complex project and troubleshooting different types of equipment.
In March of 2022, Josh made the decision to start JH Equipment Services with the hopes of helping even more companies with their heavy equipment repair needs. He is very excited for this journey and to become a leader in his field. Josh started JH Equipment Services because he wanted to offer an alternative for customers to receive dealer quality repairs at a fair price. JH Equipment Services has dealer level software for many of the leading equipment brands, including but not limited to: Cummins, CAT, John Deere, JCB, Case, Kubota, Bobcat, and many more. Josh also has experience with hydraulics to help provide a full service experience. Josh has purchased two services trucks, fully equipped to combat any issues at hand. The trucks are equipped with cranes, torches, welders, diagnostic equipment, and a full set of tools needed to repair and service. JH Equipment Services is fully insured.
JH Equipment Services believes in:

When Josh is not working on a job site or in his shop, he enjoys working on his 1968 Bronco and testing its limits off road. He also enjoys spending time with his two nephews and teaching them the names of all of the equipment he works on. He enjoys hiking with his girlfriend and exploring new places in nature, especially the mountains.
